Senior Accountant

ABIS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. This role involves working closely with internal departments and external auditors to support financial operations and reporting. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and company policies. * Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries. * Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. * Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. * Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings. * Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits. * Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls. * Provide support in financial analysis and reporting as required. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and regulatory requirements. * Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
