Care and Cure Medical Center is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in healthcare accounting and financial operations, with the ability to manage accounting functions efficiently while ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and industry standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily financial activities, preparing accurate financial reports, managing reconciliations, monitoring budgets, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Experience within medical centers, clinics, hospitals, or healthcare groups is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger management
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
* Monitor company cash flow, budgeting, expense tracking, and financial forecasting
* Handle bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and financial audits
* Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, financial policies, and accounting standards
* Coordinate with external auditors, banks, insurance providers, and regulatory authorities when required
* Supervise payroll processing and employee-related financial documentation
* Monitor healthcare billing, insurance claims, revenue tracking, and collections
* Maintain accurate financial records, filing systems, and supporting documentation
* Assist management in financial planning, reporting analysis, and cost-control initiatives
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective accounting procedures
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Minimum 3–5 years of proven accounting experience within the healthcare industry in the UAE
* Strong knowledge of healthcare financial operations, insurance processes, and medical billing systems
* Excellent understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
* Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and accuracy
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in medical centers, clinics, or hospitals
* CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is an advantage
* Experience managing multi-branch or group accounting operations is preferred
