Senior Accountant (Media / Marketing Background)

Looking for a Senior Accountant to be responsible for managing the company’s accounting operations, financial records, reporting, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and month-end closing activities. The role requires strong accounting knowledge and experience in a fast-paced media, marketing, advertising, or events environment, where the company handles multiple clients, campaigns, projects, suppliers, production costs, freelancers, retainers, and event-related expenses. The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, proper cost allocation, timely invoicing, supplier payments, compliance with accounting standards, and effective support to management in financial decision-making. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage. - Good knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements is preferred. - Minimum 4 to 7 years of accounting experience. - Previous experience in a media, marketing, advertising, creative agency, production, or events company is preferred. - Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. - Experience with project/job costing, client billing, supplier payments, and profitability tracking is highly preferred. - Experience dealing with freelancers, production suppliers, media vendors, event suppliers, and client retainers is an advantage Pay: From AED10,000.00 per month Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * accounting background : 8 years (Preferred) * media / production agency : 8 years (Preferred) * accounts payable / receivable / general ledger : 8 years (Preferred) * project / job costing : 8 years (Preferred) * client billing : 8 years (Preferred) * supplier payments : 8 years (Preferred) Language: * English (Preferred) * Arabic (Preferred) License/Certification: * ACCA / CPA / CMA (Preferred) Work Location: In person
