Senior Accountant with Real Estate Development Experience

**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Senior Accountant** to manage accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The role also involves **preparing financial reports and presenting insights to management and stakeholders** to support business decisions. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP. * Oversee accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft). * Support month-end/year-end close, audits, tax filings, and financial reporting. * Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory compliance. * Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to improve financial processes. **Requirements** * 3–5 years of Senior Accountant experience in the real estate development industry. * Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, and financial reporting. * Proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * CMA or CPA certification is an advantage. * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
