Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Environment to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead environmental consulting initiatives, providing strategic guidance to clients across diverse sectors. You will be instrumental in developing innovative environmental solutions while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with visionary thinking to drive sustainable business practices and environmental excellence. * Lead and manage complex environmental consulting projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions within scope, timeline, and budget * Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments, audits, and due diligence reviews for clients across various industries * Develop and implement environmental strategies, policies, and management systems tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements * Analyze environmental data and prepare detailed technical reports with actionable recommendations for stakeholders * Ensure all projects maintain compliance with UAE environmental regulations, federal laws, and international standards * Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, presentations, and strategic consultation * Mentor and supervise junior consultants and support staff, fostering professional development and maintaining team performance standards * Identify emerging environmental trends and regulatory changes, advising clients on implications and necessary adaptations * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated environmental solutions * Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals **Qualifications** * Minimum 8 years of professional experience in environmental consulting, sustainability, or related field * Demonstrated expertise in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental compliance * Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set with the ability to interpret complex environmental data * Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare compelling technical reports and presentations * In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices * Experience with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) or similar frameworks * Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build collaborative relationships * Proficiency in GIS software, environmental modeling tools, or similar technical applications (preferred) * Experience working in the Middle East or GCC region (preferred) * Familiarity with UAE environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives (preferred) * Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor team members (preferred) **Additional Information** *At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.* ***To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.*** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
