Senior Cost Accounting Specialist (FMCG)

Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end cost accounting processes and ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards, Execute monthly processes within ERP systems, including reporting and follow-up activities, Monitor raw material inventory movements and production cost entries across locations, Perform stock reconciliations and analyse consumption variances, Prepare and review month-end journal entries (accruals, amortisations, allocations), Analyse balance sheet reconciliations and explain variances, Support internal & external audits and prepare required schedules, Manage intercompany transactions and corporate cost allocations, Control material pricing and prepare periodic cost analysis reports, Partner with Operations & G&A teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data, Provide insights on monthly cost and expense variances, Drive continuous improvement in cost accounting processes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields, Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in FMCG / manufacturing, Experience with ERP systems is preferred; knowledge of Logo ERP is an asset, Familiarity with SAP will be considered a strong advantage, Solid understanding of production processes and costing structures, Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit processes, Advanced MS Office (Excel) skills, Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset, Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven, Fluency in English and Arabic is required; knowledge of Kurdish and Turkish is considered an advantage.
