Senior Draftsman

We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now. **Job Purpose** The Senior Draftsman is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating detailed engineering drawings and design documentation for ADNOC PMC projects in accordance with project specifications, international standards, ADNOC procedures, and company drafting practices. The role involves supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams during FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction, and As-Built stages. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and develop detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant, or other approved drafting software. * Produce and update: + General Arrangement (GA) drawings + Layout drawings + Piping drawings + Isometric drawings + Civil/Structural drawings + Equipment layouts + Plot plans + As-built drawings * Coordinate with discipline engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of drawings. * Ensure all drawings comply with: + ADNOC standards + International codes and standards + PMC project requirements + Company drafting procedures * Perform drawing checks and maintain revision control. * Support engineering deliverables during FEED and Detailed Engineering phases. * Coordinate interdisciplinary drafting interfaces to avoid clashes and discrepancies. * Review vendor drawings and incorporate comments where required. * Maintain drawing registers and document control coordination. * Assist in site-related drafting modifications and red-mark updates. * Participate in design review meetings and constructability reviews. * Ensure timely issuance of drawings as per project schedules and priorities. Mentor junior draftsmen and provide technical guidance when required. **Minimum Qualification:** * Diploma in Engineering Drafting. * Experience in 3D modelling and hands on experience in CAD software in preparation of drawings and charts in specialized field in the oil and gas projects. Additional CAD certifications are preferred. **Experience Requirements:** * Minimum 10+ years of drafting/design experience in Oil & Gas projects. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in ADNOC projects or major Middle East PMC/EPC projects.
