Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Electrical Engineer** with above **8 years of experience**, including significant UAE experience in an MEP Contracting Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of electrical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while coordinating with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities * Plan, supervise, and manage the execution of electrical works, including power, lighting, low current (ELV), and earthing systems. * Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents prior to execution. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. * Supervise and provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. * Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed within the approved schedule and quality standards. * Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, and other MEP disciplines to resolve technical and site coordination issues. * Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions. * Ensure compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, consultant requirements, and UAE authority regulations. * Conduct site inspections and coordinate consultant inspections for completed works. * Supervise testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems. * Prepare progress reports, technical reports, and other project documentation. * Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements throughout project execution. * Support the Project Manager in achieving project milestones, quality objectives, and client satisfaction. * Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. * **Above 8 years of experience**, including substantial UAE experience in an MEP Contracting Company. * Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, earthing, and lightning protection systems. * Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, or industrial MEP projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage. * Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills. * Candidates currently available in the UAE with immediate or short notice will be preferred.
