Senior Electrical Engineer / Lead

**Position:** Senior Electrical Engineer **Industry:** MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) **Location:** UAE **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee the design, execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems for MEP projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and industry standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and manage electrical engineering activities for MEP projects from design through completion. * Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements. * Prepare electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams. * Supervise site execution activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations. * Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance to site engineers and supervisors. * Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions. * Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. * Ensure compliance with DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, and other relevant authority regulations. * Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution. * Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation. * Support procurement activities by evaluating suppliers and technical proposals. * Ensure effective resource planning and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. * Minimum 8–12 years of experience in MEP contracting, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering role. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and earthing systems. * Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and high-rise building projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, and MS Office. * Strong understanding of UAE electrical codes, authority regulations, and international standards. * Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * UAE driving license is preferred. Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
