Senior Electrical, Instrumentation, & Control Engineer

**1- QUALIFICATIONS**
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
* Chartered Engineer, SOE certified, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 15 years of experience in Electrical and I&C with relevant experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pumping stations is a must.
* Excellent communication in English and client-facing skills.
* Knowledge of International codes and Standards (IEC, IEEE, ISA, NEC, ATEX)
* Knowledge of Standards and Specification of major clients in utility section in Saudi, UAE, Oman, Qatar region.
* MV/LV distribution system design.
* MV/LV Substation Design.
* Knowledge on how to read schematic wiring of various electrical and control panels.
* Knowledge of MV/LV Switchgears, MCCs, MV and LV VFD panels, Transformers, Generators, UPS, DC System, etc.
* Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Motor Starting Study, Arc Flash and Protection coordination study using ETAP software.
* Instruments, Analyzers, Sensors working principle and its selection as per measurement medium, working condition and Hazardous zone classifications.
* Process Control & Safety Systems (DCS, PLC, ESD and F&G)
* Safety and Security systems like CCTV, Access Control System, Intrusion Protection System, PAGA and Telecomm Systems, Public WIFI.
* Vibration and Condition Monitoring Systems
* Ethernet, Field Bus, Profibus, MODBUS, IEC61850, DNP3 segments, IOT systems, ICT networks / Fiber Optics Networks, Power Line Communication and Wireless communication
* Substation Automation system and interface to various switchgears, control panels etc. and Energy Management system
* Knowledge of HAZOP and CHAZOP review and SIL calculation Study.
* Interface skills in departments like Civil, Mechanical, Process, HVAC etc. and other Packaged Equipment.
* 3D Model Review.
**2- RESPONSIBILITIES**
Basic & Detailed Design Engineering, Review and Preparation of the following documents and drawings:
A- ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
* Electrical Design Basis Report.
* SLD for MV/LV distribution systems.
* Plant Electrical Load Lists.
* Sizing Calculations for Transformer, Generator, APFC, Cables, UPS, DC System, Etc.
* Electrical Equipment GAs.
* Load Flow and Short Circuit Calculation (ETAP).
* Earthing & Lightning Calculation
* Lighting and small power design.
* Specification, Datasheet, Vendor Data Review of Generators, Transformers, Motor, MV/LV Switch Gears, VFD/SS Panels, Capacitor & Reactors, Bus Ducts, Cables, AC & DC UPS etc.
* Hazardous Area Classification
* Electrical Layout Drawings, Cable routing Drawing, Earthing &Lightning Layout, Lighting Layout.
* BoQs for Electrical Equipment.
* Specifications for Electrical Equipment.
B- INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL ENGINEERING:
* I&C Design Basis Report
* Piping & Instrumentation drawings
* SCADA System Architecture Drawing
* Engineering deliverables like Instrument Index, I/O List, Block logic diagram, Control Philosophy, Hook-Ups, Cable Schedule, JB Schedule, Cable termination drawings, Loop Wiring diagrams, Instrument Location Drawing, SCADA/Control Room Layout, Cable Layout etc.
* Panel Engineering and datasheet for Process Control & Safety Systems like DCS, PLC, ESD and F&G systems and Design of Logic & SCADA Graphic Screen.
* Design documents for ELV systems like CCTV, EPBAX, LAN, PAGA, WIF, Access Control systems BMS, PMS etc.
* Co-ordination with other disciplines engineers for interface / tie-in issues and Co-ordination with client and Vendors.
* BoQ for SCADA and I&C.
* I&C Specification and Datasheet for Field instruments, Control Valves, SCADA system etc.
