Senior Estimator (Civil)

**Position:** Senior Estimator – Civil **Industry:** Construction **Location:** UAE **Job Type:** Full-Time **Age Limit:** Up to 40 Years **Experience Required:** 14–16 Years (UAE/GCC experience preferred) Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Civil Estimator** to join our construction team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and BOQs for large-scale civil construction projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical ability, and extensive experience in UAE/GCC tendering environments. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs thoroughly * Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and civil drawings * Prepare competitive tender submissions within strict deadlines * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and planning teams * Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers * Develop cost breakdowns, pricing strategies, and tender clarifications * Identify risks, cost variations, and value engineering opportunities * Maintain cost databases and historical project estimation data * Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits when required * Support negotiation with clients and consultants during tender stages * Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and contract requirements Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field * **14–16 years of experience in civil estimation (UAE/GCC experience preferred)** * Strong expertise in tendering, estimation, and BOQ preparation * Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates * Proficiency in estimation tools (Excel, Candy, CCS, or similar software) * Strong analytical, numerical, and decision-making skills * Good understanding of UAE construction industry practices * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Strong communication and coordination skills Preferred Skills * Experience in large-scale building and infrastructure projects * Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions * Strong negotiation and vendor management skills * Immediate joiners preferred Salary & Benefits * Salary: As per experience and company standards * Other benefits: As per UAE Labour Law Work Location: In person
