Senior HVAC Engineer

**About the Role:** We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, execution, and technical supervision of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across our construction projects. We are looking for a technical leader dedicated to delivering projects to the highest quality standards, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with approved regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, review, and approve HVAC system layouts, ensuring full compliance with international engineering standards (e.g., ASHRAE) and local municipal/civil defense regulations. * Manage and provide on-site supervision for site teams and subcontractors to ensure accuracy of execution and strict adherence to the project schedule. * Coordinate continuously with engineers from other disciplines (Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural, Structural) to efficiently resolve technical clashes (Clash Resolution). * Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications for equipment, and evaluate commercial quotations. * Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings. * Prepare and submit periodic performance and progress reports to senior management and project managers. * Actively participate in regular technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and relevant stakeholders. **Qualifications & Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. * Minimum of 7 to 10 years of practical experience in MEP within the construction and contracting sector, with proven track record in the UAE market. * High proficiency in specialized engineering software, including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP. * In-depth knowledge of local and international building codes, occupational health and safety standards, and sustainability requirements. * Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to guide teams and resolve complex technical issues under pressure. * Effective communication skills, with fluency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
