Senior Mechanical Engineer (Construction)

**Experience:** 10+ Years (UAE Mandatory) **Age Requirement:** Up to 35 Years **Location:** UAE **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong UAE building contracting experience** to lead the design, execution, and coordination of mechanical systems in large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality installation, compliance with project specifications, and efficient coordination with all project stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the design review, execution, and site supervision of all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems * Manage and coordinate mechanical activities across multiple construction projects * Review shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals, and method statements * Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, and international standards * Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and project managers * Prepare and review project schedules and ensure timely execution of mechanical works * Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues during installation * Conduct inspections, testing & commissioning of mechanical systems * Ensure proper coordination with civil, electrical, and architectural teams * Review BOQs, material take-offs, and procurement schedules * Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures **Requirements:** * **Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering** * **Minimum 10+ years of experience in UAE building contracting projects** * **Strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems** * **Proficiency in technical drawings and coordination** **Technical Skills:** * Strong knowledge of mechanical design and installation standards * Proficiency in AutoCAD * Experience in Revit and coordination tools * Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection * Good understanding of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, reporting tools) **Preferred Skills:** * Strong leadership and site management skills * Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, and high-rise projects * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities * Excellent communication and coordination skills Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
