Senior MEP

We are seeking an experienced **Senior MEP Engineer (Mechanical)** to join our multidisciplinary engineering consultancy team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the design, review, coordination, and supervision of mechanical building services for large-scale projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design and review of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Ventilation, and Mechanical Building Services systems. * Prepare and review design calculations, technical reports, specifications, tender documents, and engineering submissions. * Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, international standards, project requirements, and engineering best practices. * Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless multidisciplinary integration. * Review and approve mechanical drawings, BIM models, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation. * Attend client, consultant, and authority meetings and provide technical support throughout all project phases. * Support project planning, design development, value engineering, and technical decision-making. * Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices within the organization. * Assist in obtaining approvals from relevant authorities and ensure adherence to local codes and regulations. Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. * Minimum **12 years of professional experience** in MEP engineering, at least **6 years of experience within the UAE** working for an engineering consultancy firm. * Proven experience in the design and supervision of high-rise, residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. * Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements, including Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and other relevant authorities. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM coordination, and industry-standard design software. * Strong understanding of international design codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and SMACNA. * Excellent technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
