Senior Planning Engineer

**Position Title:** Senior Planning Engineer **Industry:** Construction / Infrastructure **Location:** Sharjah **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls to ensure successful and timely delivery of infrastructure works. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. * Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance against baseline plans. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and recovery plans. * Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors regarding project timelines and milestones. * Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedules. * Review manpower, equipment, and resource allocation plans. * Support tender planning, project execution strategies, and baseline schedule preparation. * Ensure compliance with contractual planning requirements and project specifications. * Participate in progress meetings and provide planning updates to management. * Monitor critical activities and identify potential project risks. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * Minimum 8–12 years of experience in planning and scheduling infrastructure projects. * Strong experience in roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, pipelines, and other infrastructure works. * Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel. * Strong understanding of project controls, delay analysis, and resource planning. * Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills. * PMP certification is an advantage.
