Senior Procurement Engineer

CSI Advanced Technical Services LLC is looking for an experienced **Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineer** to manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract services for engineering and project requirements. The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to support project schedules. **Key Responsibilities** * Identify, evaluate, and pre-qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery. * Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents. * Review engineering drawings, specifications, and MEP system requirements. * Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to support cost-effective procurement. * Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers. * Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records. * Develop supplier relationships and maintain the approved vendor database. * Monitor supplier performance and recommend sourcing improvements. * Ensure procured materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. * Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, and Quality teams to resolve technical and commercial issues. * Manage the procurement process from material request to project completion. * Administer supplier contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms. * Support procurement planning, sourcing strategies, and process improvements. * Prepare procurement reports and complete related administrative tasks. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. * CIPS or other procurement certification is an advantage. **Experience** * Minimum **7** years of procurement experience in engineering, MEP, EPC, construction projects. * UAE/GCC experience. * Experience in procurement of engineering materials, equipment, and subcontract services. **Skills** * Strong knowledge of MEP systems and engineering drawings. * Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. * Strong analytical and cost estimation skills. * Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to manage multiple procurement packages and meet project deadlines. * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Knowledge of UAE procurement practices and construction standards is preferred. * Communicator and relationship builder Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
