Senior Project Manager & DevOps Engineer

**Tech Stack & Tooling** **Project Management** * Agile / Scrum methodology — sprint planning, standups, retrospectives * Project tracking tools: Jira, Linear, Notion, or equivalent * Cross-team coordination across mobile, web, and backend engineers * Documentation, roadmaps, and release planning **DevOps & Infrastructure** * Cloud platforms: AWS (certified) and DigitalOcean * CI/CD: GitHub Actions, or equivalent pipelines * Containerisation: Docker, Docker Compose * Web servers & reverse proxies: Nginx * CDN & storage: Bunny.net, Backblaze B2 * Monitoring & alerting: UptimeRobot, Datadog, or equivalent * Database management: MongoDB, PostgreSQL * Server scripting: Bash, Linux administration **Key Responsibilities** **Project Management** * Own end-to-end delivery across REAB, CLAST.io, KOOR, and the Shipping Platform * Run Agile sprints: plan, track, and report on delivery across all engineering teams * Maintain product roadmaps, release schedules, and milestone tracking * Identify and resolve blockers, dependencies, and risks proactively * Serve as the primary coordination point between developers, product, and the CEO * Produce clear status updates, sprint reports, and project documentation **DevOps & Infrastructure** * Own and maintain cloud infrastructure across all products on DigitalOcean and AWS * Build, manage, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment * Manage Docker-based environments for development, staging, and production * Maintain Bunny.net CDN and Backblaze B2 storage configuration for REAB's media pipeline * Ensure server security, uptime, and performance through monitoring and alerting * Manage SSL certificates, DNS, domain configurations, and environment variables * Coordinate infrastructure for CLAST.io's BigBlueButton live class server on DigitalOcean * Support developers with environment setup, debugging, and deployment issues **Requirements** * 5+ years of combined experience in project management and DevOps/infrastructure roles * Proven track record managing multi-product or multi-team software delivery * AWS Certified (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) — mandatory * Hands-on experience with DigitalOcean (Droplets, Spaces, App Platform, Managed Databases) * Strong Docker and CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions or equivalent) * Solid Linux administration and Bash scripting skills * Experience managing MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL in production * Excellent written and verbal communication in English * Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable with ambiguity in a startup environment * Based in Dubai or able to commute to Al Quoz daily **Nice to Have** * Experience with media streaming infrastructure (HLS, FFmpeg, CDN configuration) * Familiarity with BigBlueButton or similar live video/classroom platforms * Knowledge of n8n, Make.com, or other workflow automation tools * Experience supporting mobile app release pipelines (App Store / Google Play) * PMP, PRINCE2, or additional AWS / cloud certifications are a strong plus * Prior experience in a startup or multi-product technology company Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED6,800.00 per month Work Location: In person
