Senior Quantity Surveyor

**Senior Quantity Surveyor - RAK** Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Senior Quantity Surveyor** to join our Engineering & Construction team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, including cost planning, estimation, budgeting, procurement support, contract administration, and project cost control. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation. * Evaluate contractor and subcontractor quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions. * Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost performance. * Prepare and review interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts. * Manage variations, claims, change orders, and contractual correspondence. * Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for ongoing and upcoming projects. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and company standards. * Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements. * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, engineers, and contractors regarding commercial matters. * Identify commercial risks and provide mitigation strategies. * Prepare monthly commercial reports and cost management updates for management. * Support procurement activities and vendor evaluations from a commercial perspective. * Participate in project planning, budgeting, and forecasting exercises. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. * Minimum **15 years of overall experience** in Quantity Surveying within Engineering and Construction projects. * Minimum **8 years of UAE experience** in a similar role. * Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices. * Proven experience handling large-scale building, infrastructure, and engineering projects. * Excellent understanding of cost control, contract administration, and commercial management. * Proficiency in quantity surveying software, MS Excel, and project management tools. * Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
