Senior Quantity Surveyor (Arabic Speaker)

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our client in Sharjah, specializing in marble works and fit-out construction. The ideal candidate will be an Arabic speaker with strong commercial acumen and proven experience managing costs, contracts, and procurement within marble or high-end interior fit-out projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for marble and fit-out projects. * Manage the full project lifecycle from tendering to final account settlement. * Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate cost planning. * Handle subcontractor evaluation, negotiation, and contract administration. * Monitor project costs, variations, and progress to ensure alignment with budget. * Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and financial reports. * Evaluate and process change orders and claims. * Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. * Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company standards. * Provide commercial advice and risk management throughout the project. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5– years of experience, preferably in marble, stone, or fit-out construction. * Proven experience in marble works (supply, installation, detailing, and finishing). * Strong knowledge of UAE construction market and contract practices. * Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office. * Excellent negotiation and communication skills. * Fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory). * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working with marble factories or specialized stone contractors. * Familiarity with FIDIC contracts. * Previous experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial fit-out projects. **Key Competencies:** * Cost control & financial management * Contract administration * Attention to detail * Stakeholder management * Time management and organization **Employment Type:** Full-time **Reporting To:** Commercial Manager / Project Director **Package:** Competitive salary + benefits (to be discussed) Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
