Senior Site Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Site Engineer to oversee and manage complete site execution activities for steel structure, PEB, structural steel, and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site operations, coordinating with main contractors and consultants, managing site teams, planning daily activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful project execution from drawing stage until project handover. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and manage all site execution activities and daily project operations. * Handle site activities from approved drawings stage until final project handover. * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, main contractors, and subcontractors. * Attend and handle main contractor meetings, consultant meetings, and site coordination meetings. * Manage and supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and manpower teams. * Plan and organize daily site activities to ensure smooth project execution. * Prepare and monitor lookahead schedules and execution plans. * Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. * Monitor site progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Coordinate structural steel fabrication, erection, installation, and finishing activities. * Ensure proper manpower allocation, productivity tracking, and work sequencing. * Coordinate with planning, procurement, QA/QC, and logistics departments. * Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained at all stages. * Prepare and maintain WIR, MIR, inspection requests, NCR closures, and project documentation. * Resolve technical and execution-related issues at site. * Ensure proper implementation of project safety requirements and company procedures. * Review and coordinate construction drawings, revisions, and technical clarifications. * Monitor material availability and coordinate deliveries as per site requirements. * Support commercial and billing teams with site measurements and work progress verification. * Ensure timely completion and successful handover of projects. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 7+ years of GCC/UAE experience in steel structure, PEB, structural steel, or construction projects. * Strong experience in steel erection, site supervision, and project execution. * Experience handling complete project lifecycle from drawings to handover. * Ability to independently handle main contractor and consultant coordination. * Strong leadership skills with experience managing large site teams and subcontractors. * Good knowledge of lookahead planning, site scheduling, and execution management. * Experience in WIR, MIR, QA/QC documentation, and inspection procedures. * Familiarity with Primavera P6 and project planning concepts is preferred. * Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities. * UAE Driving License is preferred.
