We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now. **Major accountabilities of Position** -------------------------------------- ### **Primary Objectives / Responsibilities** ### **Technical Competency** * Person must have an experience with Both Green field and Brown field Offshore structures Like offshore Jackets, Topside and Miscellaneous works like Equipent supports, Material Handling * Person must have an experience in Loadout concepts like Sea Fastening, Transportation drawings and Lifting sequence. * Supports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. * Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. * Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. * Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. * Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings. * Deliver Structural discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements * Apply recognised offshore / onshore engineering practices applicable to Civil Structural design engineering. * Checking of drawings / models and maintaining quality of deliverables ### **Project Execution** * Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. * Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability. * Initiate, design and drafting assignments on projects requirements on time and within budget. * Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and the client’s requirements. * Competent with the project estimating process and can input design deliverables into estimating module. ### **Project Deliverables** * Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares analyses, calculations, etc. * Assists with recommendations and helps create final documentation. * Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. * Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues internal authorization. * Ensuring technical integrity of the Civil Structural deliverables through the implementation of checking and design review activities. **Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:** * a) ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes; * b) if required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions; * c) prepare engineering drawings and documentation; * d) ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures; and * e) participate in project reviews as required. ### **Site Support** * Seeks input from knowledgeable sources, participates in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews, and incorporates requirements into design. * Work with site personnel to resolve issues. * Create plans or documents that supports construction, testing, commissioning, operations, maintenance, or decommissioning. * May provide on-site support for construction, commissioning, or turn over. ### **Worley, Vision, Purpose & Values** * Understands and communicates Worley’s Vision, Purpose & Values and translates the strategy into practical goals and objectives for self and team members ### **Quality Assurance** * Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems. ### **Safety** * Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures. * Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety and strives to use best practice **Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required** -------------------------------------------------- ### **Job Specific Knowledge** * Personnel shall have the specified minimum project experience in mainly Oil & Gas/refinery or petrochemicals and shall be knowledgeable of the applicable Engineering codes and standards. * Preparation of drawings for the steel structures using softwares like ACAD/SP3D/E3D and Microstation * Preparation of detail drawings for the offshore structures. *
