Software Test Engineer and Technical Support

A degree in Software Engineering is required. **About the Company** For over 15 years, TrySight has built hardware and software solutions that help people with vision impairments around the world lead independent lives. Our products range from pure software to embedded systems inside physical devices, and they're used by students in classrooms and by seniors at home, across the globe. **About the Role** The role begins with a 40-day initial project. This lets us see that you can deliver to our standards and work relatively independently. If the initial project is successful, you'll be offered a longer-term position with the company. Visa sponsorship, where applicable, is provided after the 40-day training period. **Requirements** * 4 years of professional software engineering experience * Degree in Software Engineering or a closely related field * Strong, demonstrable knowledge of JavaScript, Python, and HTML * Experience with version control systems, particularly Git * Experience managing or coordinating offshore development teams **Responsibilities** * Manage and coordinate an offshore programming team * Design, develop, and maintain software applications * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features * Use Git for code management and team collaboration * Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing * Ensure software quality through unit testing and debugging * Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices We want someone who will join us and make a real difference.
