Solar Plant Supervisor

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Solar Plant Supervisor to oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and workforce management of solar power projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. Key Responsibilities * Supervise daily solar installation and construction activities on site. * Manage and coordinate technicians, electricians, and labour teams. * Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules. * Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. * Conduct daily toolbox talks (TBT) and safety briefings. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients. * Inspect installation quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. * Monitor material usage and prevent wastage, damage, or theft of materials and tools. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. * Handle site issues, NCRs, RFIs, and corrective actions. * Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of work areas. * Coordinate equipment, machinery, and manpower requirements. * Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in solar PV projects, preferably utility-scale solar plants. * Strong knowledge of solar PV installation, mounting structures, trackers, cabling, and commissioning activities. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. * Knowledge of HSE standards and construction site safety requirements. * Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools. * UAE driving license preferred.
