Sr. Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Experience: 8–10 Years Industry: Construction (High-rise Towers & Villa Projects) Reports To: Project Manager / MEP Manager � � **Role Purpose** The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all electrical works for high-rise towers and villa construction projects. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project delivery. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Project Execution & Coordination Manage and supervise electrical installation works for towers and villa developments. Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and ensure execution as per approved design. Coordinate with civil, architectural, and MEP teams to avoid clashes and delays. Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project timelines. **2. Design & Technical Review** Review electrical design, load calculations, shop drawings, and method statements. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards. Provide technical solutions for site challenges and design modifications. **3. Site Supervision & Quality Control** Inspect electrical installations including cable trays, conduits, wiring, panels, lighting, earthing, and ELV systems. Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality and project requirements. Conduct testing & commissioning activities and prepare related documentation. **4. Vendor & Contractor Management** Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for smooth project execution. Evaluate contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual scope. Verify invoices and work progress for payment certification. **5. Health, Safety & Compliance** Ensure implementation of HSE policies and safe work practices at site. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure electrical safety measures are followed. Maintain documentation related to inspections, permits, and compliance. **6. Documentation & Reporting** Prepare progress reports, RFIs, inspection requests, and as-built drawings. Maintain project records, material submittals, and approvals. Support project close-out documentation and handover process. **Requirements** Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering **Experience: 8–10 years in construction projects (mandatory towers & villas experience)** Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, lighting, power distribution, earthing, fire alarm, and ELV systems **Experience in testing & commissioning of electrical systems** Familiarity with local authority regulations and international standards (IEC/BS/NFPA) **Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office** Experience: * Construction MEP : 6 years (Required) License/Certification: * uae license (Required) Work Location: In person
