Sr. Structural Engineer

**Job Summary** Structural Engineer We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading structural design activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, coordinating multidisciplinary projects, and supporting construction activities from concept through completion. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage structural design engineering activities for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. * Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software including Autodesk Revit, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and BIM/Revit Structure. * Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, design documentation, and engineering submissions. * Ensure all designs comply with applicable local building codes, regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards. * Coordinate structural designs with Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and other engineering disciplines. * Review and approve structural shop drawings, material submittals, design calculations, soil reports, and contractor submissions. * Respond to RFIs and provide technical support during project execution. * Conduct structural reviews and site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with approved designs and specifications. * Identify and resolve structural challenges while maintaining project schedules and budgets. * Monitor project progress, productivity, resource allocation, and engineering deliverables. * Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, project managers, and regulatory authorities. * Assist in obtaining approvals and permits from municipalities and relevant authorities. * Recommend cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative structural solutions. * Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards throughout project execution. * Support recruitment activities by participating in technical interviews and candidate evaluations. * Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members. * Attend project sites as required and provide engineering support during construction phases. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree is an advantage). * Minimum 8-10 years of experience in structural design and engineering consultancy. * Strong expertise in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and Revit Structure. * Extensive knowledge of local and international design codes, standards, and regulations. * Proven experience in multidisciplinary project coordination and design management. * Excellent report writing, technical documentation, and communication skills. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site supervision practices. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
