Steel Site Supervisor

A **steel site supervisor** is a construction professional responsible for overseeing steel-related work on a project—usually structural steel erection, fabrication, and installation on-site. Core Responsibilities * Supervise steel erection crews (welders, riggers, fabricators) * Ensure structural steel is installed according to drawings and specifications * Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers * Monitor site safety (especially lifting operations, working at heights) * Check alignment, bolting, welding quality, and tolerances * Manage materials, deliveries, and equipment on-site * Keep daily progress reports and documentation Typical Work Areas * High-rise buildings * Bridges and infrastructure * Industrial plants (oil & gas, factories) * Warehouses and steel structures Required Skills * Ability to read structural drawings and shop drawings * Knowledge of steel connections (bolting, welding) * Familiarity with safety standards (like working at height, crane lifting plans) * Leadership and team management * Problem-solving on-site Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
