Storekeeper – Construction Industry (UAE Driving License Required) Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage material inventory, tools, and equipment at our construction site(s) in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials while maintaining proper documentation in compliance with company and project requirements. Key Responsibilities * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes * Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems (manual or digital) * Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requisitions * Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records * Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and project managers for material planning * Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of the store/warehouse * Report damaged, expired, or excess materials to the concerned department * Monitor minimum stock levels and raise timely purchase requests * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment per HSE guidelines * Transport materials between store and site locations using company vehicle when required Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain is a plus * 4-5 years of UAE storekeeper experience, preferably in construction or contracting * Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory) * Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is an advantage * Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment * Good command of English; Arabic or Urdu/Hindi is an added advantage * Ability to work in outdoor and site environments Key Competencies * Attention to detail and accuracy * Strong organizational and time management skills * Honest, trustworthy, and accountable * Team player with good communication skills * Physically fit for warehouse/store duties Work Environment Based on active construction site(s) across the UAE.
