Structural Draftsman - Mechanical Projects

The Structural Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings for industrial construction projects. The role includes creating fabrication drawings, foundation layouts, steel structure details, and as-built drawings in coordination with engineers, project managers, and site teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software. * Coordinate with engineers and project teams for drawing updates and revisions. * Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. * Review and revise drawings based on site conditions and engineering comments. * Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures. * Support multidisciplinary coordination with piping, mechanical, electrical, and civil departments. * Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required. **Required Qualifications** * Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering. * 8–10 years of experience in structural drafting for industrial or construction projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. * Strong attention to detail and time management skills. **Preferred Skills** * Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, pipeline, or industrial projects. * Familiarity with fabrication and erection processes. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
