Job Title: Structural Engineer cum Draftsman Industry: Metal Works & Signage Manufacturing Company Job Type: Permanent Job Location: A Quoz Industrial Area 2, Dubai, UAE Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Structural Engineer cum Draftsman for our Metal Works and Signage Manufacturing Company in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in structural calculations, load analysis, and preparation of detailed shop drawings for metal and signage projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare structural calculations and load analysis for signage structures, steel supports, totems, pylons, and metal works. Perform wind load calculations and structural stability analysis in compliance with project requirements and applicable standards. Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and structural details for metal and signage projects. Coordinate with project engineers, production team, and site team regarding technical requirements. Review architectural and structural drawings for project coordination. Prepare BOQ, material estimation, and connection details. Ensure all drawings and calculations comply with client specifications and authority requirements. Coordinate revisions and updates based on consultant/client comments. Provide technical support during fabrication and installation stage. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in metal works and signage industry in UAE/GCC. Strong experience in structural calculations and load analysis for signage and steel structures. Proficient in AutoCAD and structural analysis software. Knowledge in fabrication detailing for steel and metal works. Ability to prepare accurate technical and shop drawings. Can work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
