Supply Chain Officer

iCenter is Hiring – Supply Chain OfficerLocation: Baghdad, IraqQualifications1. Based in Baghdad.2. Iraqi citizenship only.3. Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).4. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Supply Chain Officer or in a similar role.5. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.6. Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.7. Experience with ERP systems (ERPNext experience is an advantage).8. Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.9. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.10. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.11. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.12. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.13. High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.Tasks & Responsibilities• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the company's supply chain operations.• Manage procurement activities and ensure timely purchasing of products and materials.• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain product availability and timely deliveries.• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to prevent shortages or overstocking.• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on order status until delivery.• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient receiving and distribution of goods.• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.• Analyze supply chain data and prepare periodic reports for management.• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.• Resolve supply chain issues related to delays, shortages, or product quality.• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations departments to support business objectives.• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement and inventory transactions.• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supply Chain Manager or Management.
