Tax Accountant

Tax Accountant Sharjah, UAE Salary: Up to AED 6,000 (Depending on Experience) Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant with hands-on UAE experience in VAT compliance, tax filing, and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have practical experience handling UAE tax requirements, FTA procedures, and supporting finance operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax regulations Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax-related documents Maintain proper documentation for audits, reviews, and FTA requirements Reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies Support Corporate Tax calculations and reporting Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and tax consultants Monitor updates in UAE tax laws and ensure company compliance Assist with general accounting activities when required Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2–4 years of UAE experience in Tax / VAT accounting Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA procedures Hands-on experience with VAT filing and reconciliations Experience using ERP/accounting systems Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Good communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications Experience dealing with the FTA portal Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax Tax or accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, VAT Certification, etc.) is an advantage Immediate joiners are preferred Important Notes This role is suitable for junior to mid-level Tax Accountants Candidates should have practical UAE tax experience, not only supervisory or managerial exposure Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to AED6,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
