Technical Engineer (Mid to High Rise Building Construction)

**Key Responsibilities** * Implementation and enforcement of HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans across all phases of mid- to high-rise construction * Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations * Investigation of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts; preparation of detailed investigation reports with corrective and preventive actions * Delivery of toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ongoing HSE training programs for site personnel, subcontractors, and new joiners * Coordination with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to integrate safety requirements into construction planning and execution * Review and approval of method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work documentation prior to commencement of high-risk activities * Monitoring and enforcement of fall protection, scaffolding, excavation, lifting operations, and confined space safety standards * Maintenance of accurate HSE records, statistics, and documentation including daily safety reports, inspection checklists, and audit findings * Liaison with Dubai Municipality, OSHAD, and other relevant UAE regulatory authorities during inspections and compliance audits * Promote a positive safety culture on site through continuous engagement, observation programs, and behavioral safety initiatives **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline * Minimum 8–10 years of relevant HSE experience, with a strong focus on high-rise building construction in the UAE * NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent) is mandatory; NEBOSH Construction Certificate is an advantage * Thorough knowledge of UAE Federal OHS Law, Dubai Municipality regulations, and OSHAD SF requirements * Hands-on experience managing safety on high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments * Proven ability to conduct incident investigations and implement corrective action plans * Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills in a multicultural site environment * Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management systems/software * Eligibility to work in the UAE (employment visa provided) **About Projenco Global** Projenco is a Dubai-based firm that provides comprehensive advisory and delivery partner services to commercial and institutional developers.
