Technical Support Engineer (Architectural)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Engineer (Architectural) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing consultant drawings, identifying discrepancies, and providing technical feedback to ensure smooth project execution. This role acts as a key link between design consultants and site teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Review architectural drawings received from consultants (IFC, tender, revisions, shop drawings) * Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and UAE regulations * Identify discrepancies, clashes, and missing details in coordination with structural and MEP drawings * Prepare marked-up drawings and technical comments for submission to the Project Manager * Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) to consultants for clarifications * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues * Review and prepare shop drawings prior to submission for consultant approval * Review material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements * Provide technical support to site teams and assist in resolving on-site issues * Maintain records of drawing revisions, RFIs, and technical correspondences * Attend coordination and technical meetings as required **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction projects (UAE experience preferred) * Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, detailing, and construction practices * Familiarity with UAE building codes and authority requirements * Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage * Strong problem-solving and coordination skills * Good communication skills in English **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with contractors (not only consultants) * Experience in high-rise, residential, or commercial projects * Ability to manage multiple drawing packages and deadlines **Key Competencies** * Attention to detail * Technical analysis * Team coordination * Time management Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
