Tender / Proposal Engineer

**Job Title:** Tender / Proposal Engineer **Location:** Qatar **Department:** Estimation / Business Development **Reports To:** Tender Manager / Commercial Manager **Salary Range:** QAR 13,000 – 15,000 (Full Package) **Job Purpose:** To prepare, coordinate, and submit high-quality technical and commercial proposals for infrastructure and tunnelling projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs in detail * Prepare complete technical and commercial proposals within submission deadlines * Coordinate with estimation, engineering, procurement, and project teams for inputs * Assist in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and pricing strategies * Develop method statements, project execution plans, and technical write-ups * Identify risks, assumptions, and key requirements in tender documents * Support in preparing prequalification documents and expressions of interest (EOI) * Maintain proper documentation and version control of all tender submissions * Respond to client clarifications and support post-tender negotiations when required **Minimum Experience:** * At least 5 years of proven experience in tendering and proposal preparation * Hands-on experience working on infrastructure and tunnelling projects in Qatar * Experience with major civil, utilities, or underground works projects is preferred **Education:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline **Skills & Competencies:** * Strong understanding of BOQs, specifications, and construction drawings * Good knowledge of infrastructure, utilities, and tunnelling works * Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously * Strong coordination and communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation/tendering tools If you meet the above criteria and are interested in this opportunity, please share your CV with us at [email protected] Job Type: Full-time Pay: QAR13,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
