Accountant

A leading company in the construction materials and manufacturing industry is seeking a qualified, reliable, and detail-oriented Accountant Officer to join our professional team in Sulaymaniyah. Key Responsibilities• Manage daily cash transactions and bank reconciliations.• Prepare, record, and verify all accounting vouchers (receipts, payments, and journal entries).• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and ensure timely fund transfers.• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.• Prepare periodic financial reports for management review.• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.• Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and Iraqi accounting standards.• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation. Accounting & Financial Responsibilities:• Record and monitor all financial transactions (sales, purchases, and expenses) with precision.• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-ups and reconciliations.• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial summaries.• Support budgeting, cost control, and internal audit activities in coordination with management.• Ensure full compliance with accounting principles, taxation laws, and company policies. Qualifications & Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong ability in data analysis and reporting.• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.• Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic is required, English is a plus.
