Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with audit experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with internal and external audits. **Key Responsibilities** * Posting daily accounting transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Preparing reconciliations where necessary like but not limited to reconciliation of the claims, Inventories, payments, customers refunds, accounts receivable, accounts payables, Advances, bank reconciliations, cash reconciliations, VAT returns, general ledgers and provisions accruals. * Posting direct cost entries in relation to the Inventories. * Will support in the preparation of reports such as accounts receivables aging, accounts payables aging and inventory aging * Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and general ledger accounts. * Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries. * Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. * Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and required documentation. * Review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. * Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. * Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records. * Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities when required. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, including audit exposure. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software * Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications** * Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is an advantage. * Previous experience in an audit firm is preferred. * Experience working in the UAE is an advantage.
