Accountant

**Key Responsibilities** * Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions. * Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). * Prepare customer invoices and supplier payments. * Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. * Process local and international payments. * Maintain inventory and landed cost records. * Record import and export transactions accurately. * Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports. * Assist in VAT return preparation and UAE Corporate Tax compliance. * Reconcile supplier and customer accounts. * Coordinate with banks regarding LCs, TT payments and trade finance documents. * Assist with annual audits and financial documentation. **Requirements** * **Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.** * **2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.** * Experience in a **trading, import/export, manufacturing or chemical company** is preferred. * Good knowledge of **UAE VAT** and **UAE Corporate Tax**. * Experience in bank reconciliations, inventory accounting and financial reporting. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Experience with accounting software such as **Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics or ERP systems**. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Fluent in English.
