Accountant cum Procurement Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Accountant cum Procurement Officer** to manage the company's accounting functions while overseeing procurement activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in the construction/interior fit-out industry. **Key Responsibilities Accounting** * Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping. * Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries. * Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records. * Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). * Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. * Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. * Coordinate with auditors and maintain proper documentation. * Monitor cash flow and company expenses. **Procurement** * Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations. * Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms. * Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers. * Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely material delivery. * Maintain supplier database and procurement records. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment. * Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * **2–5 years** of relevant experience in accounting and procurement. * Experience in **Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or Contracting** is preferred. * Good knowledge of **Zoho Books, or ERP systems**. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office. * Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations. * Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications** * UAE Driving License (Preferred). * Immediate joiners are preferred. * Experience handling local and international procurement. **Benefits** * Competitive Salary * Annual Leave * Visa & Medical Insurance * Career Growth Opportunities Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
