Accountant

**HIRING: Accountant** We are looking for a **Male Accountant** with a minimum of **2 years** of UAE accounting experience to join our team. **Requirements:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance. * Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience. * Strong knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software. * Experience in month-end closing and financial reporting. * Knowledge of VAT, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, Petty Cash and general ledger. * Good communication and analytical skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel. **Key Responsibilities:** * Handle daily accounting transactions. * Prepare and maintain financial records. * Perform bank reconciliations. * Manage accounts payable and receivable. * Prepare VAT-related documentation. * Oversee inventory accounting, including work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods. Coordinate and reconcile periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts. * Develop weekly and monthly key performance indicator (KPI) reports for plant management. * Partner with the operations and engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve internal controls on the production floor. * Complete month-end closing activities and financial reports. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations specific to manufacturing operations. * Assist with audits and ensure compliance with company policies. * Inventory Control.
