Chief Accountant

**About Child Fertility** Child Fertility is an up-and-coming IVF clinic in Riyadh, delivering British-based medical care developed in collaboration with experts from Oxford University (UK). Child Fertility represents the next generation of fertility care in Saudi Arabia, rooted in scientific excellence, compassion, and innovation. **About the role** We are looking for a Chief Accountant with a proven track record of success to take control of the overall finance function at the company. **Key Responsibilities** * Hands on approach with daily involvement in all aspects of the accounting cycle * Full ownership of the whole process of financial & management accounting, cash flow forecasting/reporting and budgetary controls * To bring in added value in terms of enhancement of the operation and internal control procedures; always looking to improve the systems and procedures * Ability to foresee operational issues and rising to the challenges * Dealing with external auditors **Qualifications & Experience** * Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, 3 years of which in a senior role * B.Sc. in Accounting * Accountancy professional qualification/part qualification preferable * Full familiarity and in-depth knowledge with the whole process of financial & management accounting, cash flow forecasting/reporting and budgetary controls * Strong knowledge of IFRS along with practical knowledge of The Kingdom tax regulations covering VAT, WHT, Zakat and fully familiar with ZATCA requirements * Ability to question the numbers with great analytical skills * Ability to prioritise tasks, meeting tight deadlines * Strong presentation and communication skills together with report writing skills * Strong leadership, supervision and man management skills * An excellent team player * Experience with ERP systems and their implementation (Odoo preferable); advanced Microsoft Excel skills * Experience in dealing with external auditors * Fluent in Arabic and English languages * Accounting experience in the health/medical sector preferable **Why Join Us?** * Be part of a **flagship IVF project** redefining fertility care in Saudi Arabia. * Collaborate with a **world-class team** from Oxford University and leading fertility institutions. * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Venture capital backed Job Type: Full-time
