CIVIL ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to manage and oversee multiple villa construction projects in Dubai. Mandatory Requirements * Minimum 10 years of UAE construction experience. * Strong and proven experience in villa construction in Dubai/UAE. * Must be a Dubai Municipality (DM) approved Civil Engineer with valid/active approval. * Must have demonstrated experience in managing multiple construction projects simultaneously. * Strong knowledge of Dubai construction practices, authority requirements, inspections and approvals. * UAE driving license is mandatory. Key Responsibilities * Take overall responsibility for multiple villa projects simultaneously, from mobilization through construction, finishing and handover. * Plan, organize and monitor project activities to achieve contractual milestones and completion dates. * Regularly visit and control all assigned sites and ensure site teams are working according to programme and priorities. * Manage and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors and labour across different projects. * Prepare and monitor project programmes, short-term/look-ahead schedules, manpower plans and material requirements. * Review and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings and resolve discrepancies before they affect site progress. * Manage structural works, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, finishes, external works and MEP coordination. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities. * Attend project meetings and provide clear progress, programme and issue updates. * Coordinate inspections, RFIs, material submissions, approvals and project documentation. * Monitor procurement and ensure materials and subcontractors are mobilized according to project requirements. * Monitor project costs, quantities, material consumption, wastage, productivity and subcontractor performance. * Identify potential delays, technical issues and cost impacts in advance and implement corrective actions. * Coordinate variations, additional works and changes with the management/commercial team. * Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements. * Drive projects toward timely completion, authority approvals and final handover. Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on and commercially aware Project Manager, not merely an office-based coordinator. The candidate must be capable of independently taking ownership of several villa projects at the same time, controlling individual site teams, setting priorities, resolving technical and coordination issues, monitoring costs and programmes, and reporting directly to management. The successful candidate should have the ability to look at the overall portfolio of projects, identify where management intervention is required and ensure that each project progresses within the required time, cost and quality parameters.
