Construction Manager

**Construction Manager** **Key Criteria:** * **Capable of excelling in demanding environments** * **Demonstrates ownership and accountability** * **Willing to undertake extensive job related travelling and relocation based on Project Locations** **Key Responsibilities:** **Construction Management:** * Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, Preparation of Budget, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. * Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications. * Monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and manage project risks. * Ensure compliance with clients and governing bodies permits, and safety regulations. * Manage project budgets, procurement, and resource allocation. **Team Leadership:** * lead a high-performing construction and operations team. * Provide guidance, training, and support to team members. * Delegate responsibilities and tasks effectively to ensure project and operational goals are met. **Operational Management:** * Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to optimize project performance. * Manage operational budgets and control costs. * Implement and improve operational processes and procedures. **Stakeholder Communication:** * ·Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and government agencies. * Provide regular updates and reports on construction progress and operational performance. * Address stakeholder concerns and ensure Client Satisfaction. **Quality Assurance:** * Maintain high-quality standards for construction and operations. * Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify and rectify deficiencies. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction and operational efficiency. * Liaise closely with the QAQC Managers, QC Coordinator , QC Inspectors and Finance Department to gauge the health of all Projects. **Compliance and Safety:** * Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. * Promote and enforce safety protocols and best practices in construction and operations. * Investigate and liaise with Safety Manager to address safety incidents and issues promptly. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field * Extensive experience in construction and operations management. * Proven leadership and team management skills. * Strong project management abilities, including budgeting and scheduling. * Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Proficiency in construction and facility management software. * Certification in construction management or a related field may be advantageous.
