Under the supervision of the Sr. DPW Manager, the Electrical Superintendent position requires thorough knowledge of electrical standards, as well as CAD and schematics. Design and develop electrical systems to the required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability and quality.
Invent new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs. Is responsible for the counterfeit review and inspection of all electronic parts or end items, components, parts, or assemblies that contain electronic parts to determine their authenticity. Researches and validates electrical certifications to meet ARCENT electrical requirements.
Electrical
Inspector inspects, analyzes, and assesses all cases of suspected counterfeit material and develops inspection packet. Ensures compliance with requisite contractual, US Government, DoD, U.S. Army, local and safety, regulations, codes, policies, guidelines and instructions. Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, Vectrus Safety Procedures and local standards.
Responsibilities

Provides support in research, planning, installation, documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, actual codes and standards as well as customer requirements.
Reviews submittals and technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to actual codes, standards and customer requirements.
Conducts field surveys and other data.
Performs assignments independently with instruction as to the general results expected and with guidance from the Sr. DPW Manager or Operations Manager - DPW on unusal or complex problems.
Conducts receiving inspections and ensures products are meeting the requirements, engineering specifications and appropriate industry / regulatory standards according to established procedures in order to determine their integrity and fitness for intended application.
Inspects and verifies materials, products, and equipment conformance to specifications per requirements and identified standards.
Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
