General Accountant (F&B / Catering Industry)

**Company Overview:** A leading company in the **Food & Beverage (F&B) and Catering** sector is looking for a skilled General Accountant to join our finance team. We operate in a fast-paced environment with centralized kitchens and large-scale event catering. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage the full accounting cycle (journal entries, bank reconciliations, month-end closing). * Prepare and analyze financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement). * Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including payment scheduling and collections. * Manage **inventory costing** and monitor the movement of raw materials and consumables. * Perform **recipe costing** and analyze profit margins for each food item. * Prepare VAT returns and coordinate with regulatory authorities. * Collaborate with the operations and production teams to analyze actual costs vs. budgets. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. * **Experience:** Minimum **4 years** of practical experience, **mandatorily in the Catering, F&B, or Hospitality industry**. * **Software Skills:** * **Expert proficiency in Zoho (Zoho Books / Zoho Inventory) is a MUST.** * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas). * Strong understanding of food cost calculation, wastage percentages, and inventory turnover. * Ability to work under pressure and meet month-end deadlines. **Compensation & Benefits:** * **Basic Salary:** **4,000 AED (UAE Dirhams)** (Performance-based increase available after the probation period). * **Accommodation:** **Fully provided by the company** (including all utility bills and rent, saving you significant monthly expenses). * Health insurance and employment visa (work permit) as per UAE labor law. * Stable work environment with professional growth opportunities.
