Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain marine software applications and digital solutions. * Build and enhance software systems for vessel monitoring, fleet management, marine operations, and related maritime services. * Analyze user requirements and translate operational needs into effective software solutions. * Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices. * Integrate software applications with databases, APIs, sensors, and marine technology systems. * Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support when required. * Collaborate with marine engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver successful solutions. * Participate in software architecture design, testing, documentation, and deployment activities. * Stay updated with emerging technologies in software development and maritime digitalization. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Marine Technology, or a related field. * Proven experience in software development, preferably within the marine, shipping, offshore, or industrial technology sectors. * Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies. * Experience with databases, web applications, APIs, and software integration. * Understanding of marine systems, vessel operations, navigation technologies, or fleet management solutions is an advantage. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
