MEP Estimation Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Estimation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs. * Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. * Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender pricing. * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Analyze project scope and identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures. * Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams during the bidding process. * Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions within deadlines. * Maintain updated cost databases, labor rates, and material pricing. * Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required. * Support project teams with cost analysis and budget control throughout project execution. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * 2-4 years of experience in MEP estimation, preferably in construction or contracting. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software. * Strong knowledge of MEP systems, local codes, and construction practices. * Experience in quantity surveying and tender preparation. * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
