We are looking for an **MEP Lead (Mechanical)** to join our team in **Saudi Arabia.** In this role, you will support a **major 8-year PMC rail project in Riyadh**, where you'll lead the design, coordination, and technical delivery of Mechanical building services for landmark railway projects. If you're passionate about engineering excellence, thrive in multidisciplinary design environments, and enjoy leading complex infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the production, coordination, and technical review of Mechanical building services design, with a primary focus on HVAC systems and supporting Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. * Manage the Mechanical design team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. * Oversee the design of Mechanical systems for Rail & Metro infrastructure, including metro stations, underground stations, elevated stations, depots, and operation and maintenance facilities. * Coordinate closely with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Architecture, Track, Systems, and BIM teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions. * Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, ASHRAE standards, the Saudi Building Code, and applicable international codes and standards. * Lead multidisciplinary design reviews, technical workshops, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives. * Review contractor design submissions, RFIs, engineering proposals, and design changes. * Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering and coordination challenges throughout the design lifecycle. * Mentor and develop Mechanical engineers while promoting technical excellence and best practices. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. * **Minimum 15 years** of overall engineering experience. * **Minimum 10 years of mandatory Rail & Metro experience.** * Proven experience leading the production, coordination, and review of Mechanical building services design for Rail & Metro infrastructure projects. * Extensive experience in HVAC design, with working knowledge of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. * Experience designing Mechanical systems for metro stations, underground stations, elevated stations, depots, and operation and maintenance facilities. * Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards, the Saudi Building Code, and applicable US and British codes. * Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering coordination on complex infrastructure projects. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and HAP (Carrier Hourly Analysis Program).** * Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. * Fluent in English. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with international engineering consultancies. * Familiarity with GCC railway standards and Saudi regulations. * Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams across multiple project phases. * Experience with BIM-enabled design coordination and digital engineering workflows. **Why Join Sener?** * Multinational working environment * High-impact, large-scale Rail & Metro projects * End-to-end project ownership * Career development and growth opportunities * Mentorship and continuous learning * Hybrid working environment * Competitive salary and benefits * Stable, long-term career with an innovative company * Collaborative and supportive team culture * Opportunity to make a real impact **BE PART OF A MISSION THAT MATTERS — JOIN SENER** If you are passionate about engineering excellence, value meaningful work, and want to be part of a company that designs infrastructure that makes a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
