Nurse/ Patient Service Technician

Job Title: Nurse/ Patient Service TechnicianReports to: Patient Service CoordinatorLocation: Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, IraqResponsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities:• Professionally welcome patients and ensure a patient-centred, comfortable service experience.• Register patients, input their information, and provide requested services through the electronic system.• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments, and coordinate patient flow across relevant departments.• Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs measurement and pre-examination preparation.• Collect and accurately document both objective and subjective patient health information.• Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures as needed.• Administer medications and treatments according to physician instructions with precision.• Provide basic and advanced first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols.• Collect blood and laboratory samples, ensuring correct labelling, safe handling, and transport in compliance with infection control standards.• Operate and maintain medical equipment safely, and educate patients on treatment procedures, medications, and proper use of medical or home devices.• Cover the Communication Department by responding to patient inquiries, handling messages and phone calls, and coordinating between departments.• Deliver laboratory and basic home nursing services upon request, following the medical complex policies.• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety, infection control, and proper medical waste disposal standards.• Monitor, supply, and maintain medical supplies and first aid equipment consistently.• Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, data entry, archiving, and responding to emails.• Support operational and clinical processes and undertake any additional tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.How to apply:Email us your CV through: [email protected]: Candidate full name and position is Nurse/Patient Service TechnicianExample: Hassan Ahmed- Nurse/Patient Service Technician
