OILFIELD CHEMIST

JOB TITLE : OILFIELD CHEMIST LOCATION : SYRIA REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years experience in Oilfield Production Chemicals Formal Qualifications in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Excellent English Language Skills in speaking and writing Ability to work alone and un-supervised Travel Flexibility as frequent extended field visits in Syria / Iraq required Erbil based would be preference. Ability to travel to Erbil for training is necessity. Syrian nationality is preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibility for Oilfield Chemical Lab / Field Testing for Advanced Chemicals Syria Operations. Select optimum treatment applications via bottle testing for demulsifiers, asphaltene dispersants, H2S Scavengers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, antifoams and any other oilfield chemical applications Conduct and supervise plant field trials at customers sites for demulsifiers, asphaltene dispersants, H2S Scavengers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, antifoams and any other oilfield chemical applications Customer site visits will primarily be in Syria but travel to Iraq and other locations maybe required. Writing Technical Reports for all lab and field based operations in English in a professional and timely manner Interface with Syria customers to understand current market conditions with regards to customer requirements / challenges / competitor activity Sales responsibilities, initiating sales calls to all customers in Syria.
