Operations Engineer – Maintenance & Projects (Odoo ERP Expert)

**About the Role:** Al Mutasel Company is seeking an elite, commercially sharp Facilities & Projects Operations Engineer to oversee our maintenance portfolios and project lifecycles across Abu Dhabi. This is a highly technical, fast-paced operational role demanding an engineer who can seamlessly bridge the gap between field execution, client contract management, and ERP data entry. *Note: This role requires a formal Engineering background and immediate operational capability. Candidates without specific UAE facility management/maintenance project experience or those who have not utilized Odoo ERP will not be considered.* **Key Responsibilities:** * **Contract & Complaint Management:** Act as the primary technical point of contact for contracts, incoming tenant complaints, and formal client service requests. * **PPM & Lifecycle Execution:** Design, schedule, and execute thorough Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) campaigns and minor project fitouts. * **Snagging & Practical Completion:** Lead engineering site inspections, execute detailed snagging lists, and drive works to formal Practical Completion. * **Financial Tracking & Invoicing:** Review subcontractor packages, audit Bills of Quantities (BoQs), verify variations, and process operational invoices. * **ERP Administration:** Manage the end-to-end operations pipeline utilizing the Odoo system (specifically leveraging the latest functionality up to Odoo 19), including procurement, asset management, and helpdesk ticketing modules. **Candidate Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. * **Experience:** Minimum 5+ years of verified experience managing maintenance, facilities management, or fitout/refurbishment projects within the UAE. * **Software Expertise:** Advanced, practical mastery of Odoo ERP software is mandatory. * **Location:** Must be based in Abu Dhabi and deeply familiar with local authority compliance, site logistics, and subcontractor networks. * **Skills:** Exceptional communication skills to handle high-level client interactions, contract negotiations, and multi-trade sequencing.
